Am looking for data on Dorathea Elizabeth Schaper, Shaefer, etc. b. 14 Sep 1842 in Kaltendorf, Magdeburg, Prussia came to USA 1850-52 age about 8,with father Christopher or Henry and mother who died and was buried at sea enroute,landing in New Orleans. Also with them was her brother Carl. In 1865, in Burlington, Iowa, she married Carl Gottlieb Frederick Christian Lohmann (b 17 Oct 1845 in Ottenstein, Braunschweig, Germany.) She died 24 Oct 1925 in Burlington, Iowa.
