I am looking for information on Adelbert Schaefer, b. in Malone, New Jersey, d. in Gloversville, New York. His parents came from Malone, New York and perhaps had Dutch ancestry. He was a barge captain (Hudson-Mohawk barge canal). Married to Bridgett Connely, b. in Ireland, d. in Gloversville, New York. They had four children that I know of. Theresa married William Christie, William married to Lena, Adelbert b. 13 Jul 1883 in Bayonne, Hudson, New Jersey, and Johanna Loretta b. 13 Mar 1888 in Bayonne, Hudson, New Jersey and d. 15 Jan 1971 in Elizbeth, Union, New Jersey married to Paul Kreutz.
Any information on any of these people would be great!
