Deceased Name: Mary M. Schaefer
CARLINVILLE - Mary M. Schaefer, 90, of Carlinville died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at Friendship Home in Carlinville.
She was born June 19, 1916, in Lehigh, Okla., the daughter of John and Tontina Constantino Berdella. She married W.J. "Sonny" Schaefer in 1940 in Carlinville.
Mrs. Schaefer graduated from Carlinville High School in 1934. She was a homemaker and a waitress at The Spot and Honey Bee restaurants in Carlinville.
She was a member of Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Home Extension.
Survivors: husband, W.J. "Sonny"; son, Ron (wife, Linda) Schaefer of Carlinville; daughter, Judy (husband, Keith) Graham of Carlinville; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Clara Young of Carlinville.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Carlinville, the Rev. Donald Blickhan officiating. Burial: New Calvary Cemetery, Carlinville.
Davis Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
