I have a post card written to a Mary L. Lyman, who is in my family line. It says the following:
Geneva, Indiana
December 20, 1911
Cousin Mary:
Your letter rec'd yesterday, glad to hear from you. Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Your cousin, Elizabeth Schaefer
I am thinking that this might be a relative on the Stager line or Lyman line. Catherine Stager married Ira Norris Lyman. Catherine's family settled in Darke County, Ohio. If anyone has a Schaefer line that settled in Indiana during the early 1900's will they see if there could be a connection?
