I am looking for information re a man born Henry Grant Schaefer and his son, Henry Grant Schaefer, Jr., born somewhere around 1916. Both of them changed their name to Harry O'Neal for professional purposes. I do not know if the changes were legal or not. The senior Schaefer/O'Neal was in vaudeville. The younger attended Winnwood on Long Island and later went to Hollywood. We think the Schaefer family was in Virginia and there may have been a sister to the senior named Grace. Can anyone help?
