Your French great-grandfather Victor Saladin married Martha Delenne, daughter of Henry J Delenne and Martha J Delenne of Collinsville, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri. Your great-great-grandfather Henry J Delenne and my great-great-grandfather André Dèlenne were cousins. I believe that you and I have the same Delenne GGGG-grandfather.
Our research here in Alabama has been predominately on the Delenne line, though we have attempted to trace all our Collinsville and St. Louis relatives to the present; including Victor Saladin and wife Martha Delenne Saladin, Jesse Johnson and wife Jennie L Delenne Johnson, and Lawrence Roederer and wife Daisy M Delenne Roederer.
We are delighted to find you here and will be happy to share what we have with you. We are especially interested to learn if you or your family might have additional clues relating to our Delenne ancestors.
