I have details of a Roskell family who lived at 14 Hope Street in Accrington at the time of the 1881 Census.
They are as follows:-
ROBERT ROSKELL (HEAD) - Born app 1838 Cottam, Lancs
CATHERINE MATILDA ROSKELL (WIFE) - Born app 1845 Somerset
ALICE ROSKELL (DAUGHTER) Born app 1872 Accrington
ANNIE ROSKELL (DAUGHTER) Born app 1880 Accrington
ELIZA J. ROSKELL (DAUGHTER) Born app 1860 Preston
GEORGE ROSKELL (SON) Born app 1867 Preston
LYDIA ROSKELL (DAUGHTER) Born app 1876 Accrington
MARY A. ROSKELL (DAUGHTER) Born app 1858 Preston
