(NOTE: I hav not been able to connect the following with my known ROOT families ofCuyahoga County, Ohio)
No. 1388 The State of Ohio, Cuyahoga County, ss.
Charles E. Warner having made application for a Marriage License for Himself and Ellen M. Root of said County, and being duly sworn, on his oath says that he is of the age of not less than twenty-one years, that he has no wife living, that said Ellen M. Root is of the age of not less than eighteen years, that she has no husband living, and that said persons are not nearer of kin than second cousins, as he verily believes, and, that thw names herin given are the true and correct names of said parties. \
