Hi Alan:
I am searching, not for Robbs, but for anyone that knew the Jordans of Hereford or the Haines of that english/Wales area. I have a postcard whih indicates my dad in the year 1943 was staying with a Robb family in Aberdeeen or right outside. He indicates this family is a friend of his mother's family Jordan's/Haines. My dad was at that time in search of his mom throughout england. For some reason he ended up looking for family members and staying with members in the scotland area.We beleive that my dad dermot Baker was a native of Hereford, his fathers'family born in Bristol and his mom's family from the Hereford area.
good Luck, perhaps my dad visited a Robb family member??
