As I stated in another post: A while back, I came across a collection of old photos of the Roath, Benham, Jones, Tennison and other families of Oklahoma, Texas, Pennsylvania and Georgia. About a dozen of the photos are tin-types, many are cabinet photos & CDV's. Pinkie P. Roath (daughter of Daniel Roath) married C. L. Jones in 1928, according to the inscription on their wedding photo. Other photos have info on the portraits that show where they were taken: Texas, Oklahoma (Indian Territory and Oklahoma Territory), California, New York, Iowa, etc. Pinkie's (half) brother was Barney Bernice Benham. The tin-types are probably of ancestors born around 1800, as they appear to be elderly. Some of the photos show old homeplaces. It would take some time to organize these photos and info written on them. Some have no info, but you can tell it's the same person that is in a photo that has info on the back. One of the oldest photos was done in Woodstock, Vermont and has the birthdate of the man in the photo ... 2 June 1791. Does this info sound familiar to you?
