Rachel Richardson (or variations of Richason, Richison, Richeson, Richerson, Richisin, etc.) was born circa 1735, possibly in southeastern Pennsylvania (area of Chester County, or nearby in Delaware, New Jersey or Maryland?) and married James Bratton (or variations of Brattin, Bratten, etc.) circa 1754, probably in or near Chester County, PA. They eventually moved to south central Pennsylvania before 1785 and were in the area of Wayne Township of Mifflin County (which is very near Huntingdon County, along the Juniata River). Rachel and James had children named Elizabeth, Sarah, James ("jr."), Samuel and William (per James's will, in 1799). Rachel likely died about 1810 in PA.
