Hi,
I don't know that we have undeniable proof that this John Richerson, son of Giles and brother of our Thomas, is the one married to Catherine Motley, but I think we've declared it by preponderance of evidence:
This John is in the area, in nearby Essex Co. (no John in Caroline County at the time)
That Thomas appointed his brother John as one of his executors and guardians of his son, but John does not appear to have performed either role, suggests
that John did not live in Caroline County where it would be convenient for him to perform as guardian or executor
This John named one of his sons Giles and one of his daughters Jane Johns, names of the parents of our Thomas and John Richerson.

Catherine Motley was the first wife of John Richerson; his second was Eunice Noel. Does anyone know what happened to the three children, Edwin, Lucy, and Henry, his children with Catherine?
