Hi Pat, You are right about John H. Richerson being called Johnnie--in an interview done with Schuyler Richerson's wife, Margie, she states that John H. Richerson was known as "Uncle Johnnie":) I did make a mistake in my typing of the children of John H. Richerson--I should have typed James R. instead of John R....also, Lee may be the Robert that I typed in. In the 1880 census Mobeetie, Wheeler County, Texas, there is a child listed as Robert L.--so the L could stand for Lee. John H. Richerson is listed as J. H. Richardson in this census--he is a hotel keeper in Mobeetie.
Mary is my husband's gggrandmother.

Also, in the 1880 census (above) and 1900 census (Berlin, Rodger Mills County, Oklahoma), both John H. Richerson and his wife, Mary list their birthplaces as Missouri and the birthplace of their parents as Kentucky, so you are right about Kentucky!
Looking forward to hearing from you!! Alison
