Edgar Wayne "Little Mac" Richardson
PLAIN DEALING, LA - Funeral services for Edgar Wayne "Little Mac" Richardson, age 54, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Plain Dealing with Rev. Chad Hardbarger officiating. Burial will be in the Plain Dealing Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Plain Dealing, LA.
Mr. Richardson, a lifelong resident of this area, died Friday, November 27, 2009 in Shreveport. He was in the trucking business from 1992 to 2009 owning the EWR Trucking Company, Richardson Farms and Kathy Richardson, Inc.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Darlene Richardson on January 18, 2008; by his parents, G. M. "Mac" and Coquies Gann Richardson.
He is survived by sons, James A. Richardson; Edgar W. "Bubba" Richardson, Jr.; Jeffery "Jeff" L. Richardson and wife, Andrea; grandchildren, Cody, Taylor, Carlie, Lexie, Stephanie, Dustin, Levi, Riley and Jade; brothers, Larry Richardson; Terry Richardson and wife, Nancy; Roy Lee Richardson and wife, Trish; and Lonnie "Pete" Richardson, all of Plain Dealing, LA; sister, Laura Richardson of Henderson, TX and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Leavy Nugent, Larry Deen, G. M. Dodson, Billy Anderson, Jeremy Oliver, Jeffery Wayne Harvill, Casey Fradella and Michael Sykes. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Bounds, Danny Grisham, Lowell Revalee and Norm Corkran.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Bailey Mortuary in Plain Dealing.
