I am a descendant of Daniel Richardson and Nancy Townsend's daughter Naomi and Philip Miller and hope you can answer some question about the Richardsons.
Is the trapper Amos Richardson who is mentioned in the book "Travels In The Interior Of America 1809, 1810 & 1811" by John Bradbury Daniel and Nancy's son?
On page 160 of "The Original History Of John Colter His Years In The Rocky Mountains" by Burton Harris a Daniel Richardson is said to have been the executor of Colter's estate. Amos Richardson is also mentioned as a relative of Daniel. Can you tell me if this is true and is this our Daniel?
