Augustine Richardson of Maine and Louisiana

I am trying to research an Augustine Washington Richardson who was born in Maine in 1830. He might be my great-grandfather. My grandmother, possibly his daughter, was raised as an orphan and never knew who her father was other than that his last name was Richardson. Through church records of her parents' marriage we have found that her father was A.W. Richardson and in other church records we found the name Augustine Washington Richardson. The 1860 census tells us that he was born in 1830 in Maine. In searching online, it looks like he might belong to the family of Augustine Richardson who was born in 1804. Our Augustine is listed in the 1867 city directory of New Orleans as a mason. The Maine Augustine is listed in the 1850 census as a mason. The Louisiana Augustine would be just the right age to be a son born between James and Abby. Also, our Louisiana Augustine had a son named Orlando. The Maine Augustine had a son named Orlando. There just seems to be too many coincidences for the two Augustines not to be related. Does anyone have any input? Thank you for any suggestions or help.
