Body of missing man found by hunters - Enoch R. RICHARDSON died at farm near Friendship.
The boby of Enoch R. RICHARDSON, who disappeared from his house on the Johnny Powell farm, between Friedship and Maury City, March 25, was found by hunters about one mile west of No. 20 Highway and about two miles from his home on the A. T. Yancy farm Tursday.
Several hundred men, under the direction of former Sheriff Keltner of Crockett County, searched for several days at the time of his disappearance, but failed to find a clue.
The cause of his death is unknown according to Sheriff William Gaba of Crockett County. Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Friendship Funeral Home.
The Rev. C.O. Frey officiated. Burial was in Providence Cemetery with Friendship Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. RICHARDSON was 72. He leaves a sister Mrs. Mary Ellen RICHARDSON-Pierce of Memphis, Tenn.
Two brothers, Eli RICHARDSON of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Hessey M. "Hessie" RICHARDSON of Friendship, Crockett County, Tenn.

THURSDAY MARCH 16, 1950

DEATH... Services were held Monday at Maple Springs Church, Beech Bluff, Tenn., for Hessey M. RICHARDSON who died March 11th. at the Crockett County Farm. He was 62. He leaves one sister, Mrs. James "Bud" RICHARDSON-Piecre of Memphis; one brother, Eli RICHARDSON of Dyersburg and several neices and nephews.

They were the children of Raleigh and Lancy Freeman-RICHARDSON. They were from Montgomery, Co. N.C. who moved to Tennessee in the 1870's. Raleigh's parents Lovin and Sarah Butler-RICHARDSON, also from Montgomery, Co. N.C. moved to Madison County, Tennessee in 1869.
