I'm looking for information about Oliver Richardson, born 1786, Holliston, MA, died 13 Sep 1829. He was the second husband of Mary Stedman Fairbanks Carroll, Carroll being her first husband's surname. In connection with this, there is Isreal Putnam Richardson, born 7 Jun 1831, died 7 Jul 1903. For some reason he was adopted by Jotham and Eunice Clark and had his name legally changed to Clark in 1849. I'm not sure if he was the son of Oliver Richardson or not. I've come across more than one Oliver Richardson but can't make a connection with Isreal to any of them. In the Condensed History of Medway, there is a reference to Putnam R. Clark, Millis, MA, who died at the age of 72 in 1903 and says he was the son (should have been grandson)of a Revolutionary War soldier. This could possibly be Sgt. Oliver Richardson, b. 16 Sep 1754, d. 4 Jul 1845 in Medway, MA.
