In Reply to: Owen Reilly and his mother Margaret Brennan by John Hart of 1691

The 1850 census lists the following in Pittsburgh:

Owen Riley 40
Elizabeth 36
Margaret 14
Mary 12
Philip 9
John 6
Elizabeth 2
Margaret Picket 60

The children were all born in Pennsylvania. The others in Ireland. This info matches the 1860 census where Owen and the children are concerned.

The cemetery where Owen is buried may have something on him if not his wife Elizabeth. To find her maiden name try to get the death certificates or obituaries for her children. One of them is bound to have it.

BTW the 1900 census shows Ursula, wife of John Rieley as born in 1850 and immigrated in 1868.
