I have traced our Redfern family tree back as far as William Redfern, who married Harriet Beardmore in about 1815 (date not known). The interesting thing is that they had children named - Theo, Richard, Harriet, Mary, Jane and Samuel Jones (my great grandfather).Richard married a lady called Elizabeth, and died on 4 August 1921. He was an artist (watercolour). I have no other dates for these except that Samuel Jones was born on 14 June 1848. Samuel lived in Stockport, in Cheshire. Any connections ?
