I am researching the Trussell family and came across information in a book published in 1891 by Hayden and shows a James Trussell of London and daughter Jane.
I have more information on the Raven family out of the New England states late 1600's and also in S. Carolina where my direct Trussell family lived during the late 1700's. I also have more information from the archives in England and other old books. I am having problems connecting the James Trussell line and his daughter Jane. Would like to find more information possibly in the Raven family that might help me connect the John Trussell of 1622 Northumberland Va. and the James and Jane Trussell in the Raven family. The following is information out of Hayden's book. Will be happy to share information that I have. This book also contains information about the Peytons in connection with Raven family that located in Kentucky. Please email me at the address provided by the forum.

June 22, 1618, Leah Cotton, spinster, 19, dau. of Mr. Allen Cotton, Alderman." Mr. C. became in 16_ Sir Allen Cotton, Knt. Lord Mayor of London. He is of the house of Cotton of Etnall. (v.Burke's Landed Gent.) (III) 1634, Jane, dau. of James Trussell of London, Gent. Had by 1st mar. __5. John, and other children named in will; had by 2nd mar. -6.Cotton, d. young.

My note: "pro. June 4, 1858" is the correct date in the book and may be a typo error but not listed on the correction page by the author...Dannie
