The graveyard is located about 5 minutes from Clark County, across the river in Madison County, near Boonesborough State Park. It is on my family farm, on a hill beside an old house. I have some photographs I took while hiking there last fall. Here is what I can see from them-
"Mary Anne Loydt Quisenberry" Born September ...
The graveyard hasn't been maintained it seems, and lightning often strikes the trees there, knocking them and the gravestones over sometimes. It used to be maintained when my grandparents were alive by someone locally but I think the only activity in the area is cattle walking through. Some of the stones are broken but several are still standing, and almost all are readable. According to my mother they lived right in that area and in Clark county, and were family friends to my ancestors. This was in the late 1800s-early/mid 1900s. I can send the pictures, they aren't very good but it might give you an idea. Its not very easy to get to as its up on a hill and the road that used to lead to the old house thats there has been grown over and there are trees down everywhere since the recent ice storm, noone has lived in the house for 15 years or so.
