Here is what I know of my Quisenberry roots: I have Quisenberry roots on both sides of my grandmother's father's family. Both sides of my Quisenberry roots ended up in Kentucky. Do any of these names fit in with your research?:
Mary Ann Quisenberry b. 1833 in Virginia. She married James Eldridge and had the following children: Margaret, William, David Eli (my ancestor), Hyram & James. David Eli Eldridge married Henretta Franklin. David and Henretta made their home in Kentucky. Their eldest daughter Delia married Edward L. Pendleton. Delia & Edward were my great great grandparents. Their son Leslie Dudley Pendleton was the father of my maternal grandmother.
Elizabeth Quisenberry (the daughter of Aaron Quisenberry & Joyce Dudley)was b. 1767 in Spottsylvania, Virginia. She married Rice Pendleton of Orange, VA. They made their home in Bath County, Kentucky. Their son Thacker married Mary Polly Roundtree. Thacker and Mary had a son named Rice (after his grandfather). Their son Rice married Eliza Jane Crouch. Rice and Eliza had a son named Virgil "Thacker". Thacker married Clara (Clarissa/Cora) Donlan. Thacker's & Clara's son was Edward L. Pendleton who married Delia Eldridge the granddaughter of Mary Ann Quisenberry Eldridge.
