Hi Ray,

Capt William Pulham only had one son, Henry william Pulham, but he had a large family and a number of his sons had sons. So we think we know the details of probably all the Pulhams of your grandfather's generation descended from Capt Pulham, but cannot be absolutely sure one or two haven't slipped through the net. Some of the NZ Pulhams settled in Australia (e.g. Robert (Bill) Pulham in Tolga, Qsl.), but none with your grandfather's name. However, as you will see from the narrative history of the family which I am sending directly to your Hotmail address, those names are very common amongst the Harwich Pulhams, and there are other possible lines of descent from them. But, could you not find your grandfather's birth certificate and from that the names of his parents?

I have also just had a couple of emails from English Pulham relatives who spotted a notice I put on the Harwich roots web page, so it looks as though we are going to find out a whole lot more about the English rellies over the next little while.

Where were those pictures located on the net, BTW?

Cheers Peter
