Hi Lucy,

Greetings to a second cousin once removed. I will email a copy of the narrative history of the Pulhams to your hotmail address. As you will see, the Pulhams did sail first to Tasmania in 1840 but they shifted to Auckland in the 1840s; Frances first, after marrying William Daldy, then most of the others in 1849, then Henry William Pulham. None were left behind, and we can account for all of Capt William Pulham's (half-)siblings, none of whom left England, except for Francis, who died in India. So, if any other Pulhams emigrated to Australia in the mid 19thC, they would have been distantly related cousins.

I can't recall mentioning Jean and Elizabeth Darroch,so could you remind me about where they come in.
