Fredie, I am trying to prove or disprove the relationship of this Benjamin Polk with John Polk b: 1766/67 North Carolina d:1845 Maury County Tennessee. The question is not wether Sara Robina was the daughter of Benjamin D.A Polk but who Benjamin D.A Polk's Father was.

John Polk of Maury had a son, Benjamin who was born before 1790 and after 1780. The family who migrated to San Augustine, Texas appears to be part of Civil Charlie Polk's (b: 1760) family. Civil Charlie had a brother John Polk Jr. who may have had a son Benjamin D.A Polk who may have been documented in Stewart County Tenessee with his uncle Civil Charlie. ( Not the son of Taylor Sr. Polk)

Are you aware of any document which would tie Benjamin D.A Polk to John Polk of Maury ?
