Hello Bill; Thanks for answering that question for me. Things aren't looking too good now for the Somerset Polks. It will be interesting to see what the DNA tests will eventually be able to proove. Both haplogroups can't be related to President Polk through the male line anyways. I would be elated to find out that I was related to President Polk, but will feel badly for those who find out they are not. Ned Fleet
