Hello; I just wanted to mention that earlier S. C. had asked about any lower Delmarva Polks being tested. I believe that one of the Polks over at ancestry in the I2B1 group has traced back to these Polks. Bill Polk stated , I believe that the line is unproven with one weak link, but that the person probably is descended from the Somerset Polks. As it appears that DNA testing seems to proove the descent of John Fleming Polk and Bill Polk from Wm Polk/MT, it would seem that it also tends to proove that Bill Polk and John Fleming are right and William Polk of Carlisle PA is not related to the Somerset Polks. It appears that the Somerset Polks are haplogroup I2B1 while William Polk of Carlise PA who married Margaret Taylor is R1B1. Ned Fleet
