Hello Bill; I was referring to the 22 generations you mentioned in your original post. If the information from Thomas Dryden Spratt is true it appears that he followed a very similar migration pattern to the Carlisle Polks and this would tend to reenforce the likelihood that the Carlisle Polks are ancestral to the President.
