Would anyone have any information on Phoebe Polk, who is listed in some compilations as a daughter of Thomas Polk and Mary Wilson Polk of Darlington, SC. What substantiation of her birth is available? I am researching the possibility that she married William Cox, who was a neighbor of Thomas Polk and moved to Marion Co., MS with Thomas' son, Jonathan Polk.
