towns: Wacmierz/Watzmirs(Gross-Klein) shows LDS filmed civil
recs, 1874-1883, 3 film #'s 14565 66 to 68. Tczew was the
powiat/kreis/county. Re Chodziez/Kolmar town, LDS has filmed
church recs, various denom. 1675-1960. Also,filmed civil reg
1874-1945. finally, filmed Jewish recs 1818-1824. Chodziez
shows up in <familysearch>, place search, as powiat/county &
16 different towns/villages. Separately, LDS shows Kolmar,
German name for Chodziez, as kreis/county with 4 towns, including Kolmar, Budsin, Budzyn,& Kirchdorf towns. Finally,
writing to Poland should be a last resort and contacting the
local parish/church should be priority # 2. Contacting reg-
ional or Warsaw or Church archives should be priority # 3.
Money & time seem to be Poland's priorities, whether church
or civilians involved. "Powodzenia, panie!!!
