My gg-grandmother, Sophia Artillia RHYHAEY TEAGUE. I believe her maiden name, RHYHAY, to be a phonic spelling.

It has been suggested that the true spelling of her maiden name was REICHE/RAICHE.

Sophia was born in Pyrzce Poland on 14 Feb 1841. Her primary language was German, although she did speak French. She claimed Alsace-Lorraine as her country and was said to live near Lake Constance. She traveled to Texas at the age of 15 with her bother and father. She did leave a mother in Alsace-Lorraine and wrote to her in the late 1800s.

I would appreciate any history on all the surnames noted.
