I am Samuel William Poe. My father is William Samuel (Sammy) Poe. He is the one who was born in 1935. The only kin of my fathers brothers and sister i met, was artula, who moved to Sacramento (Mather AFB) to live with us for a time back in the early 1970s. I remember when my fathers brother Sonny died quite a few years ago. He took it hard. I also remember when my grandfather passed away in 1968. My father was in Vietnam at the time and needed a pass to return to the States in order to attend his funeral. I'm not certain but i think it was around halloween of 1968 when grandpa passed on. I was 8 years old at the time. My father is still alive and 74 now. We live here in Great Falls, Montana.
