I am looking for more info on James M. Powe/POE b. 18 Apr 1839 KY and died prob in OR. I think that he might be son of Rice Poe and Harriet Brown. He married Jane (poss Jerusha Jane, last name unknown) abt 1851 prob in MO. On the 1870 census he and family are in Volcano, Amador, CA. The children are James K, Lewis D., Sarah M., Thomas, Wilburn, Mary and Laura E.
In 1880, this family is in Deer Creek, Douglas, OR. The children still living and at home are Lewis E., Thomas, Wilber, Mary A., Laura E., and Maggie. Are there any descendents who could assist with this family?
