Hello all Perry researcher's my name is Helen, and I am searching for my Perry relatives., my Perry's came from S.C., lived in Tenn, Ala, Ark, and into Oklahoma Indian Terr. We are Choctaw Indians,my gggrandfather is Calvin C. Perry, he was married to my gggrandmother Creasy Carter. I think she was his second wife, first wife was ? Howe. we are related to Bailey's, Griffiths, O'Neil, Neal, Vaughn, Hightower, Fowler, Sanders, and a host of others. my ggrand father (Calvin's son) is Henry Belton Perry, he married Blanch Coleman-Perry from Va. Henry's mother is Creasy (Creasie) Carter, I found her on the Dawes Indian Rolls in the household of the Franks, and she was in the household of the Hopper's at one time, on papers that I obtained from the Choctaw Nation says Calvin's mother is Hettie and his father is Moses Perry. Blanch and Henry's children are Jesse Perry b. abt 18??., Frank b. 1895 d. 1919. I think Frank lived in Chicago Ill. and Jesse in Ponca City, Okla. William McKinley d. in infancy, Ruverttia Perry (Ida), and Mary Alice Perry, my grandmother Ida said that Mary Alice was not her real sister, so it is all a real mystery.Mary Alice was b. 1889 and Ruverttia (Ida) was born 1902 in Oklahoma Indian Terr. I think Mary Alice came from Texas,when she was a baby and ggrandmother Blanch raised her. I have an uncle who is Ida's son and his nick name is Bailey, his name is Frank James Darrington, as is Ida's married name. Calvin married another woman named Phoebe Burris-Perry, I know there are Freeny's in this family and Sampsons, as well as Eaton's, if this sounds familiar to anyone please contact me, ok?
