Found an old Bible at a Mobile, Alabama antique store. Edward L. Perry, born Sept. 7, 1836. Married Mary A. Aywan on Sept. 28, 1864. The owner said that the Bible came from a New Jersey estate. I did a lookup & found a Edward L. Perry, born Mass., living in Patterson, Passaic, N.J. in 1880, wife Mary. 1850 census lists Edward L. Perry, residence Worcester, Mass., father David, born about 1803, mother Elizabeth, born about 1808. From 1870 through 1900 Edward L. Perry worked in the rubber manufacturing industry. In 1910 he was widowed & living with his son, Edward L. Perry, in Patterson, N.J. Hope this helps someone.
