I don't have any personal knowledge of your Pedigo line; however, I spent a few minutes and came up with a possible lead for you. You really did not supply very much information (I'm sure you have more if you would think about it for a moment). Given that Grace Pedigo was your great-grandmother and that she died in the mid-1980's, I guessed that she might have been born around 1900. You also mentioned that she died in Manchester, TN. Using that information, I checked to see if there was a Pedigo family living in Coffee County TN in the 1920 census. There was. The family members were James (b. 1874), Josie [2nd wife?] (b. 1895), Clarine (b. 1901), GRACE (b. 1904), Earline (b. 1915) and Laura (b. 1918). Birth years area estimated based on age given in 1920 census. Obviously Josie could only have been the step-mother to Clarine and Grace. Living next to the Pedigos at the time was the Allen family, including a son Lewis (b. 1901). In the 1930 Census for Coffee County there appears a Lewis E. Allen and his wife GRACE E. Allen. The ages for these two people match up with Grace Pedigo and Allen Lewis in the 1920 census.

The individual referenced above may or may not be your ancestor. I hope that the information may be of some use to you.
