Jubal born 12-8-1787 Franklin Co, Va. is mine and I would give anything if any of you had a clue as to who his real father was. ANyone with any ideas?
James who raised Jubal seemed to like him and in the will James said he was illegitimate but Jubal was older and was well off and didn't need help. James seemed to play very fair in the will. Many sons he tells them he has already done for them more than he should and he told each one a very believable truth. I feel he liked his son JUbal even though he was illegitimate. I feel it in his will very strongly.
JUbals mother was Rhoda Basham born 1792 Bedford Co. Va..
James married again to Sally ANderson.
I think James had a total of 15 kids.
