We are looking for information both forward and backward for the family of Tom Payne (b. 1864 in Louisiana - d. Abt 1909) and Mattie S (maybe Stone?) (b. May 1866 in Texas). They had children James Thomas, Levi, Allie, Ralph, Blond Lick, Fred, Edmond, and Euel. We have census reports, but then nothing. Anyone that has any information, and is willing to share, would be greatly appreciated. His father was born in about 1844 in Georgia, but that's all we know. His son James Thomas married Mytle Saxon (b. 1900 in Mississippi) in Texas, and raised their family in Smith County.
