My fourth great-grandfather was Thomas Edgar Payne b. 2 May 1821 Metuchen, Middlesex, New Jersey and died 2 Sept 1910 New Jersey. He married Elizabeth b. 1817. Do not know when she died. They had 10 children together.
My 3rd great grandfather was Bethune Dunkin Payne. He was born 20 Nov. 1844 Metuchen, New Jersey and died 3 April 1925 in Rosita, Colorado.
I am trying to find out when Bethune Dukin's brother Jermiah died and buried and his sister Willetta J. Compton. Jermiah was born 1841 Metuchen, New Jersey. He married Drucilla b. 1840 NJ and they had two children.
His sister Willetta J. (Payne) Compton b. 1855 or 1856 NJ and married William Compton b. May 1868 NJ.
