Hello! I'm researching Civil War soldiers of Pittsford, NY and I found a John M. Parry who enlisted in Co. L 1st Artillery in October, 1861. His regiment took part in the battles of Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg and many other campaigns before he was discharged. Can anyone provide any additional information about him? Birth year probably c late 1830s or early 1840s, death date unknown. Feel free to email me directly. Thanks!
