I'm trying to track down some leads on a Nancy Parmer, born about 1804 in Virginia (possibly PA). According to the deposition she submitted for a widow's pension, her maiden name is Parmer and she marries Ralph Dudelston in 1825 in Coshocton, Ohio. However, the county marriage record lists her name as Nancy Fiddy. A Thompson Fiddy lives nearby and perhaps he adopted her?
This has been a real puzzle. I know a Hiram Parmer, age could be Nancy's sibling, is also in Coshocoton around the same time.
Any help would be appreciated.
