Henrietta Parmer b. abt. 1784 in Maryland, who lived and died in Barbour Co., Alabama before 1857, may be the dau. of Joseph Parmer b. abt. 1750 in Maryland. Joseph Parmer's son and possibly Henrietta brother, was Benjamin Parmer b. abt. 1781 in Maryland. d. January 8, 1857 in Barbour Co., Alabama. Benjamin's last wife Mary Grubbs married Henrietta's husband Matthew Lasseter, after Henrietta's death. This marriage and Henrietta's date and place of birth appears to establish a strong link to Joseph Parmer's family.
