I have a James Parmer that married a Francis in my family tree. I shown James b. Abt. 1845 and Francis Abt. 1850. There is also a female child, age 6 mons. They are living in the home of Peter Parmer in Watt, Covington, MS. Might be a connection here.

I have been searching for a link to my Palmer line. This family came from France and for years it simply was a dead end search. A few days ago, I ran across another Peter living in the next county as mine did. Also born in France and b. abt 1799.

I believe that my Peter Palmer (Parner) is the son of Peter Parmer. The census shows a Martha, William, Isaac, James. All names that have been passed down in the family.

You might check into the 1870 Mississippi census and get back to me with your thoughts.

By the way, several members of this family moved to CA.

Thanks much!!
Sheri
