My gr grandfather, William Thomas Whitley married Litia Paraline Parmer (in the 1870's?) somewhere around Randolph Co. Alabama. One of his brothers, Robert, married one of Paraline's sisters, Fannie Parmer a few years later. I have posed the Parmer name into the Whitley forum looking for connections.
