Charles PARMER md Betsy COLVIN 1807 in St. Charles Co, MO, looking for info on son George who md Elizabeth COOLEY 1837 in Carroll Co, MO.

Did George and Elizabeth have a son James Calvin PARMER / PALMER born 1838? George does not show up on the 1840 census, looks like Elizabeth moved back in with widowed mother Frances COOLEY in 1840. Unexplained male under 5 in the household, youngest child for widowed Frances should be a 9 year old female, and she is accounted for.

In 1844 Elizabeth PARMER md Zebider Roberts in Carroll Co, MO, is this the same Elizabeth? On the 1850 census Clinton Co, MO they have 3 young children, obviously "theirs" -- who is the James C. age 13? This James would be from a previous marriage, but is he really a Roberts, or did enumerator just ditto in James C. Palmer as a Roberts? Looked for "Z" Roberts on 1840 census to see if he actually had a 3 year old male in his household, but no "Z".

I go to Salt Lake City a couple times each year and am going again soon, would like some new clues. Glad to share what I do have on this family, and if I find anything new in SLC, too.
