Is anyone working on Parmer, sometime spelled Palmer in Buchanan Co, MO? Clayburn F. Parmer is there on 1840 census, then moves on. I'm looking for a couple, George and Elizabeth, parents to my James Calvin Palmer. Family notes say James was born 1838 in Jackson, MO, could that be Jacksonville, Buchanan Co, MO?

I would be glad to share what I have found on Clayburn/Clayborne and Charles Parmer/Palmer from census and land records in nearby counties.
