I am looking for the family of Samuel Palmer who was probably born in 1750s-60s in GA or SC. He married Anne Brunson whose family ancestors had come to SC in the 1690s. Samuel died in Screven Co. GA c. 1814. His wife, Anne, died sometime between 1795-1801. Samuel later married Blanche Butler, widow of Stephen Butler, of Washington Co. GA. Samuel and Anne's children were: Miriam, Elizabeth, Susan, and Charles b. 1795. Samuel lived in the St. George Parish before the counties were formed in GA. The spelling of Parmer existed until the 1850s when the spelling of Palmer was the chosen spelling of the surname. Would like to connect to any Palmers related to this family group. I am very interested in the parents of Samuel Palmer.
