I have discovered more descendants of this marraige of 1824, in Southwark, Surrey, England. Two sons; Thomas John Brooks Pain, 1826, Holborn, married Sarah Knight in 1847 in Northampton. T J B P is reputed to have died in America sometime before 1888. Second son William Bowyer Pain, 1832, Holborn, married Mary Ann Hone in 1856 in St.Pancras. Died 1870 in Hackney. William's children included Mary Ann Ada Elizabeth Pain, born 1857, St.Pancras; and William Frederick Pain, born 1864, St.Pancras. Also possibly an Emma Bowyer Pain, born 1860?, and a Rebecca Bowyer Pain, born about 1858? T J B P'(1826) had the following children; Thomas John Bowyer Pain, born 1849. Reputed to have married an American and emigrated to USA circa 1870? Also Sarah Knight Pain, born 1850, died 1851. Then Sarah Bowyer Pain, born 1853, Hackney, married William Page 1875 in Marylebone. Their children included William, Leonard, Frederick, Arthur, Anne, Ellen, & Mary. Then Charles Knight Pain, born 1857, Bethnal Green. This is my Greatgrandfather. Other possible children include Rebecca, and Emma Bowyer Pain, mentioned above. I'm trying to identify other surviving lines, and would particularly like to know more about T J Brooks P and his son T J Bowyer P and wife after they emigrated to America. Thank you, Philip Pain
