Dear Richard,

Many thanks for your informaiton. It is a great help.. I think, however, that it is likely that Harbott's son William in your listing is my ancestor who has a son named Henry Hooper Pagan who marries Kiziah Travers. They have a son named Levi who then has a son named William. This would fit with your information (except that you have a possible second marriage to John (d.1785) producing a daughter Keziah who marries a Henry Hooper. Otherwise it all fits, and augments what little I had to date.

This may also give us the link with the lost 'Elizabeth' in the first posting.

I will certainly let you know when I receive the book.

Madeleine
